Reaching OUT to Port Maria Schools

Jamaica Project 2014-15
This year we were able to touch more children's lives as we reached out to schools. As we arrived, the different aged classes had prepared songs, sang them and recited poems at our visits! We have built relationships with four schools in St. Mary (the poorest Parish) and one basic school in Kingston in Jamaica. We bought supplies for schools and even paid a water bill for our basic school project in Kingston. We also paid school fees and helped individuals who touched our hearts along the way.
Jamaica Project 2013-14
This visit was full of precious moments
& the creation of bigger dreams to bring home to our 2x4 Int'l staff to
ponder & possibly implement for next year. We were able to pay for 40 K-12
student school fees in 4 different schools (2 in the poorest Parish St.
Mary--rural area and in the poorest areas in the city of Kingston), school
supplies & equipment, zinc & wood purchased for damaged homes, fishing
equipment bought & delivered for the fisherman community. Grateful to 2x4
Int'l teams in MN/CA for our work & efforts. All the smiles, interviews of
grateful educators & communities are for you!!! See the pictures &
interviews below.
