Join our Crock Pot Cook Off and Community Yard Sale to raise funds for education projects and the homeless! #CommunityFamilyFun4agoodcause


Saturday, November 2   8am -2:30 pm. Midtown Sacramento 409 21st Street Sacramento, CA 95811

Charitable cause will benefit the following efforts:

~Last year we bought sleeping bags & McDonald's food cards for the homeless in Sacramento. This year we will continue our outreach to the homeless over the holidays.

~From downtrodden wooden chalkboards used to divide full classrooms to REAL CLASSROOM PARTITIONS! Step by step @ Port Maria Primary School, 2x4 Int'l & our donors are helping to build partitions in 14 classrooms in the poorest parish in Jamaica.

CROCK POT COOK OFF~ 11:00-1:00 (Open to Public) Prep begins between 10-10:30 am

Cost for adults $5 and $2.50 for kids. Volunteers eat free!

Adults & kids are able to sample everyone’s creations and judge via voting tickets for each category. You will be able to vote for one dish in each category.

Four categories: chili, stew, chowder and soup

Interested in showing off your crock pot wonder for a good cause? Email (There will be prizes & a tax write off for sharing your goodness—once you register for the crock pot cook off we will send you more details about the event). We are also looking for volunteers to make bread and corn bread which will be served free with bottled water.

Looking to clean out your house to prepare for the holidays & champion efforts for a good cause?

Consider joining/donating to our Sacramento Mid-Town Yard Sale for charitable and educational purposes. Email if you would like to donate goods. We can pick it up or you can drop it off.
